Magazine Layout & Wire Frame
The magazine cover, spread, and print to mobile layout was an individual design orientated assignment. I learned how to design a logo for the cover and place tag lines/ quotes in the "Z read" format. I used Photoshop for the pictures and Indesign for everything else. I designed the magazine spreads based on my own experience reading magazines. I removed important pull quotes from the article to catch the reader's eye. Also, I created captions for the pictures and place them accordingly. I crafted the print to mobile potion of the project according to the various vertical and horizontal layouts for the magazine spreads. I have a distinct passion for design and formatting, so I enjoyed manipulating the different features within the Indesign application.
